Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, the dynamic duo from the hit film Shaun of The Dead, have been hard at work over the past few weeks shooting their latest film Paul in New Mexico. The film focuses on two British slackers who, after visiting Comic-Con, go on a road trip to Area 51, where they encounter a small alien named Paul, who enlists them to help him find his way home.

Now the pair have offered up a brand new video blog, that introduces the actors, director, and give us a first look at the story. Check it out below.

The film is being directed by Greg Mottola (Superbad, Adventureland) and stars Bill Hader, Sigourney Weaver, Jason Bateman, Blythe Danner, Jane Lynch and Seth Rogen — all of which appear in the vlog.

According to Variety Jane Lynch
will not be back for the second season of Starz comedy Party Down due to her commitment to the Fox series Glee.

Starz wanted to work around the busy schedule of the actress but it seems that that is not possible.

“It looks like I can’t do the second season,” Lynch said. “So I’m not happy about that all … but I’m in Glee, so I’m thrilled about that.”

Party Down was picked up for a 10 episode second season this past May.

The stars of the FOX series “Glee,” including Matthew Morrison, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch, will take part in a panel discussion about the new television program July 18 at the Directors Guild of America.

The discussion — which is part of Outfest 2009, the 27th Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Film Festival — will be preceded by a never-before-broadcast episode of “Glee” at 1:30 PM.

Also set for the question-and-answer session are “Glee” co-creator and writer Ian Brennan and executive producer Dante Di Loreto.

“Glee,” according to press notes, “follows an optimistic teacher who – against all odds and the wishes of his wife – attempts to restore his school’s glee club to its former glory, while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential.” “Glee” makes its official premiere Sept. 16 at 9 PM ET on FOX.

Outfest will also present a panel discussion with the talent and creative team of HBO’s “Big Love” (July 19 at 5 PM at DGA 1) and will screen the Lifetime drama “Prayers for Bobby,” starring Sigourney Weaver and Ryan Kelley (July 19 at noon at DGA 1).
